2018 in review
2018 started with Stewart traveling to the Philippines for the 2018 Philippine Circuit dog shows to meet up with some special and like minded friends from around the world. Stewart was particularly interested in these shows as the litter brother to our impending import KesaSonals Little LeCarbul aka Carter from Ireland was being shown at this show. There were 7 shows in total and Carter's litter brother KesaSonas Little Woody won multiple best of breeds, multiple junior in groups and multiple junior in show. All in all a very successful show for the show team.
February was to be the month that our impending import Carter was to arrive from Ireland here in Australia, unfortunately there was a hiccup in the paperwork from overseas which caused a 6 month delay in his arrival. Although at the time we were very disappointed it actually worked in our favor. His breeders were able to show him throughout Europe and for Carter to obtain not only his Irish Championship title but also finishing the year as the No.1 French Bulldog in Ireland.
August saw Stewart travel again overseas this time to Amsterdam to attend the World Dog Show. And it was to watch our dog KesaSonas Little Lecarbul aka Carter in the show ring. Carter had some fantastic results in the shows competing against hundreds of Frenchies and coming 2nd in his class at the French Bulldog Specialty show. Fantastic results all round.
Carter achieved: Reserve Best In Show Irish Toy/Companion
Dog Society Group Championship Show
Junior Celtic Winner 2018
Junior Irish Championship 2018
Celtic Winner 2018 (Best of Breed)
Irish Championship title
Irelands No.1 French Bulldog 2018 (even though he left 5 months before the show season ended)
All this before arriving here to us.
Arrival
Late August our long awaited import arrived in Australia for his 10 day stint in Quarantine in Victoria.
Carter hit the ground running once released from quarantine.
We entered Carter into the Royal Melbourne show where he won Best of Breed against 169 french bulldog entries and then awarded in the top 8 of the Non-Sporting Group Specials. He won Junior is Show at the French Bulldog Club of Vic specialty.
Over the next couple of months Carter won numerous Best of Breeds and gained his Australian Championship title within 3 months and is now known as; Irish Ch. Aust Ch. KesaSonas Little Lecarbul.
